About Us

Rotary club of Hyderabad East is one of the clubs located in twin cities in Telangana in District 3150. Our club was initially selected under model club programme of Hyderabad for a period from 1st July 2007 to 30.07.2010. Subsequently our club was selected in "Meeting Frequency Program" for a 3 year period from 01.07.2010 to 30.06.2013 and now extended to 2021. In this program we are required to meet only twice in the month against the norm of 4 times in a month. We meet on every 1st and 3rd Friday at 7:30 PM at Taj Decccan, Hyderabad and also on Virtual Platform during Pandemic . The fellowship is between 7:30 and 8:00 pm and meeting is from 8:00 to 8:45 pm.

Most of the Rotarians stay back for the post meeting fellowship from 8:45 onwards. There is a Board meeting at 9:00 AM of every 2nd Saturday of the month. This is held at different directors residence this is breakfast meeting. The details of the host for the breakfast meeting is mentioned in the Year Calendar.

The formal fellowship is normally on the 4th Saturday of the month. A group of five Rotarians join together and host the family fellowship. Apart from the regular family fellowships, potluck lunch and dinner are organised by Anns.Rolling Fellowship Trophy is an integral part of our fellowships wherein three to four Rotarians are invited for dinner and the Rolling Trophy is passed on to another member. An International Rotary Friendship Exchange is also on the cards.
